On Sunday, a video surfaced in West Bengal showing a couple allegedly involved in an illicit relationship being brutally beaten in the middle of the road. The incident has drawn criticism from the opposition, particularly targeting the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC). On Monday, BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut expressed her anger, demanding that Rahul Gandhi address the issue, as TMC is part of the India Alliance.

Kangana questioned the situation, stating there is widespread anger over the matter. "A woman was accused of adultery and Sharia law was implemented there. I want to ask the allies of the India Alliance, including TMC and Mamata Banerjee, who protest against the Constitution every day, is it written in the Constitution that you can arbitrarily implement Sharia law in any state?" she remarked.

The viral video clip revealed a disturbing scene: the accused violently assaulting a woman who was visibly in pain. As a large crowd gathered and watched, the man was seen dragging her by the hair, mercilessly kicking her. The brutality did not end there; the accused also attacked a man, beating him with a stick.
